Our Community Outreach ministry exists to ignite compassion for our community through service and love which binds us in unity. We do this by going beyond our doors to build relationships, care for, and serve people where they are.

We believe that Christ’s love has the power to change lives. We have the privilege of being part of Christ’s work by loving and serving our community.

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” ~ 1 Peter 4:8-10

The Community We Serve

We've chosen groups in our community where we have the resources to meet the needs. We continue to evaluate additional opportunities as more resources become available. Click below to learn more about each of these areas.

Bridgeway allows us to serve the youth right here in our community. We get to come along side the homeless, abused, sex-trafficked, and at-risk youth, and show them the love of Jesus through devotions, games, and providing daily necessities. https://www.sayyestoyouth.org/bridgeway-shelter/

Learn to do good; seek justice, reprove the ruthless, defend the orphan, plead for the widow. ~ Isaiah 1:17</p>

We believe supporting local schools by sharing our time and resources is one way to show Christ’s love. We dedicate time to Parmley Elementary by helping with various activities including back to school orientations, providing teacher breakfast, and including the school children in our annual Giving Tree event. We are also involved in the Willis ISD mentorship program.

And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. ~ Hebrews 13:16

We believe in the sanctity of life and as such have chosen to support PACN in various ways including drives to collect baby supplies and formula, donations through our baby bottle change collection, and facility clean-up days. There are also mentoring opportunities. To get involved, click on the link or contact us. https:// www.pacn.org/

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. ~ Psalm 139:13-16

We believe that ALL of God's children deserve to know they are valued and can learn valuable life skills. ATKH purpose is to reach at-risk kids and teenagers through horse therapy and riding. They teach valuable Life Skills, share God’s love for people, and mentor people through horsemanship that fosters healing and personal growth. https://allthekingshorses.org/

But whoever has worldly goods and sees his brother or sister in need, and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God remain in him? Little children, let’s not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth. ~ 1 John 3:17-18

We believe that ALL of God's children, whether young or old, deserve to be cared for and provided for. We provide financial assistance and host their Mission Market after Sunday services twice a year. Under Over serves the homeless community in the Conroe area. They provide hot meals daily, Sunday worship services, residential program, and many other services. https://www.underoverfellowship.com/

John answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.” ~ Luke 3:11

We believe that ALL of God's children deserve to have a safe place to stay. Isaiah 117 House provides a comforting and safe home for children awaiting foster placement. The friendly and loving volunteers provide clean clothes, smiles, toys, and snuggly blankets to help ease the child’s transition in this very difficult time. https:// www.isaiah117house.com /
