Bible Study

Bible Studies are held weekly by CBC's Men's and Women's Ministry, both on and off campus.

We offer a wide variety of Bible studies to help you grow in your knowledge of God’s Word and in your relationship with Him. Whether you’re a new believer, a long-time follower of Christ, or just curious to learn more, join us! If you have questions, please contact the church office and one our Pastors will help you.

Men's Bible Study

There is a war raging around us – it is a battle for the truth. Is God real? Does He speak, and if so, how would we know?

The God Who Speaks is a 90-minute documentary that traces the evidence of the Bible’s authority through interviews with some of the world’s most respected biblical scholars. This film answers common objections about the Bible’s reliability and equips believers to confidently base their lives on the power of God’s Word. It was produced by American Family Studios, a division of American Family Association.

We will be using an 8-week video study that explores the topics of biblical authority and reliability using never-before-seen footage from the documentary. It is intended to be a helpful resource in strengthening our confidence in the authority of God’s Word. Each session runs around 30 minutes and includes suggested discussion questions.

It is not necessary to see the documentary prior to doing the study, however it will be helpful if you do. The documentary is available on Prime Video or can be streamed online at: thegodwhospeaks.org

The study will begin on Thursday, May 12th at 6PM. We start with a 30-minute fellowship, begin the video at 6:30, and finish with discussion, ending at 7:30.

Smaller, Weekly Bible Studies

We do have several smaller groups that meet weekly for Bible study and fellowship. (Don't let this confuse you, these are not our Small Groups.) Some of these smaller group Bible studies take place off campus and meet at a local restaurant, and others meet at the church. You can find these weekly groups and the details by checking our Calendar. There are no signups needed. If one looks right to you, feel free to show up; or you may call the church and we can help you get connected.
