Bible Study

Bible Studies are held weekly by CBC's Men's and Women's Ministry, both on and off campus.

We offer a wide variety of Bible studies to help you grow in your knowledge of God’s Word and in your relationship with Him. Whether you’re a new believer, a long-time follower of Christ, or just curious to learn more, join us! If you have questions, please contact the church office and one our Pastors will help you.

Men's Bible Study

The next Men’s Bible Study will begin on Thursday, May 1. We will meet at the church in the great room at 6:00 PM for fellowship and start the study at 6:30.

Books will be available for $12.00.
We will be working from Warren Wiersbe's study of three post-exilic books written to show us how God wanted His people to return to Him in worship: Ezra, Haggai, and Zechariah. The book is called BE HEROIC by Warren Wiersbe
Based on the books of Ezra, Haggai, and Zechariah, this study examines three unsung heroes of the Bible who can inspire us today.

Women’s Bible Study

  • Jonah:  Navigating a Life Interrupted, by Priscilla Shirer.
    7 week Study
    March 13 - April 24
    Thursday Mornings - 9:30-11:30 am
    Thursday Evenings - 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Interruptions. They're aggravating. But how we handle interruptions actually tells us more about ourselves. What do we do when God interrupts our lives? Many times, like Jonah, we run!  This Bible study redefines “interruption” as God's invitation to do something new in your life.
When Jonah was willing to allow God to interrupt his life, the result was revival in an entire city.

    Books are $10

Smaller, Weekly Bible Studies

We do have several smaller groups that meet weekly for Bible study and fellowship. (Don't let this confuse you, these are not our Small Groups.) Some of these smaller group Bible studies take place off campus and meet at a local restaurant, and others meet at the church. You can find these weekly groups and the details by checking our Calendar. There are no signups needed. If one looks right to you, feel free to show up; or you may call the church and we can help you get connected.
